Downloading tv shows/movies

Is it still possible to download tv shows/movies using the ignite app, if so how?

if not, when did it change?

not what I’m looking for, looking something similar to prime or Netflix, where I can download the whole season if I wanted.

why would I record something to then download it

Then you have no recordings.

You can’t, unless you record (or purchase) the season.

So you can watch offline.

Not everyone has Ignite TV (yet).

Then why can I download seasons on prime (for e.g. Chicago Fire) but can’t using the ignite app?

doesn't make sense, I’ve not purchased seasons on that app, I have Prime, which includes prime tv, why am I paying for a tv package from Shaw/Rogers but unable to download shows, time to move provider and not just for this.

So what you’re really saying is Shaw/Rogers do not allow/ offer downloads (of any significance) any longer.

I got about as much info from the Shaw help team and they provided broken links as well.

No, that isn’t what I am saying, you can download all you want, just have to record it first. You could also use on demand for certain programs, or use the network’s app, maybe they offer something.
