They said nothing and just kept referring me to another site to cancel but nothing would register. Finally 4 hours later I got a real person on the phone.
They cancelled Crave etc for me but could not offer a reason as to why other means of cancellation would not go through. I did explain this was my 5th attempt to reach someone in 2 days......I also expressed that if they want clients to communicate on line why don't they have a section to cancel anything to do with your account and quit wasting people's time. Also didn't matter that I cancelled my trial on time. I would still have to pay for it for December and it would be reimbursed on my January 2021 bill.
Not impressed in this time of Co-vid.....that they hold customers money, when its mostly a matter of a computer entry to update bill for the coming month. Worth talking to CRTC about. They aren't paying interest on my held money but if I was a month late are there not late charges????????? Just sick dealling with the big companies who are flowing in the dough during these times, with teens doing schooling, families trying to connect to families, or individuals trying to work or connect with on line medical appointments. I expect many had to increase their internet and data to keep up with the social media now necessary to survive in today's un-normal world.
