How do I open the back of the remote?

I need to change the batteries.

On the backside of the remote, the bottom part slides off.  I recently had to change the batteries in one of my BlueSky remotes and it took a bit of force to get it to slide.

Yes, I had a picture...it had just said on the screen that batteries were very low...forget the wording but meant very low.

How do I remove the battery cover on my shaw remote?

There are several different Shaw remotes but the battery compartments all open in a similar manner. You slide the battery compartment cover down towards the bottom of the remote and then lift the cover off. On the BlueCurve remote I find that after sliding the cover down you have to lift the bottom end of the cover slightly upwards away from the body of the remote to release it from the remote.
