how to turn off the screensaver for XI6-A

Though I know there are settings to switch the screen saver to kick in on different times (i.e. 1 hour, 5 hours, etc). However, how can it be turned off completely?

The reason I ask is that I have it hooked up to my Sony Bravia Android TV and overnight when the screen saver kicks in for the cable box, it sporadically prevents the Sony remote from controlling the cable box. Sometimes it takes me pointing the remote at the cable box for over 10 seconds, sometimes I have to restart/reset the whole TV (i.e. turning it on/off isn't enough).

I noticed that if I turn on the TV and there is no screen saver, there are no issues.

@stormdragon -- your question has previously been asked on this forum, and the responses have been "not possible" to turn it off.

Reference about what can be set (BlueCurve, not Gateway) is on this Shaw web-page.

Note that most of the buttons on the remote-control affect the Gateway, with a few exceptions:

• power (turn the TV off -- the Gateway never turns off)
• input (source on your multi-input TV)
• volume up/down
• mute

that affect only the TV.
