It depends on how you connect the TV -- it could use a coaxial cable or a HDMI cable or a DVI cable or component cables to connect to the Shaw TV box, to watch the TV channels available on your Shaw TV channel-package. But, this is not using the TV's "WiFi" capability.
Or, if it is a "smart-TV", it could connect wirelessly to your Shaw WiFi modem, to use your Internet connection to access other channels.
Either way, you will need some account (for billing) from Shaw, and then either the service using a TV box or the service using a WiFi modem.
