Ignite TV app

Can you using the Ignite TV app within the former Shaw areas set a future recording. According to a search I performed this seem to work with Rogers Ignite, one would think the two are the same. According to Rogers once in the app you can toggle a show and in the menu you can watch or record that show, on the app within the former Shaw network you do not get the choice to record only watch, Am I missing something.

With Shaw Gateway.....i had the phone app ShawGo...which allowed you to set recordings on any of my TV channel line up......why does Ignite TV app not have such a feature associated with my Blue Curve TV channels.......feels like our services are being downgraded even though the technology is supposedly improving....please do something Rogers/Shaw !
