'I spoke with Technical support today, as I too am missing (from my phone and computer) all the local networks on Xfinity by Shaw streaming app (formerly Ignite Tv) since Jan 1, 2025. They confirmed to me that the missing channels (networks) have been removed from the live streaming app.'

No longer available is:   CBC, CTV / CTV2, or GLOBAL  (only CityTv is avail.)

@rstra @MarthaJab @TGAG  and anyone else I might have forgot.  I just tried on my Fire 10 tablet and I can confirm that @rstra is correct in the fact that, Yes if you are connected to your home wi-fi all those local channels CTV, CBC, GLOBAL, on the streaming app are there and work totally great.  So I am assuming this is only affecting away from home access for those offending channels.  What a shame, this will affect people's viewing habits, when not at home.

they just told me the same thing, that some networks have been removed from the streaming app. seems rogers is useless and can't even continue the service like shaw had it. this is unacceptable and we will be finding a new service. if we have to access global and ctv apps then we don't need the rogers one.. might as well cancel the service since we will seldom use it.

even worse I had to be in the live chat for over an hour just to get that info, I swear they just leave it long wait times so more of us give up and leave. why not hire more ppl to answer quicker?
