Went to order my Nhl center ice yesterday. I was told my hardware 4k cable box this season is not compatible with it! Rep had no answer why. I now have to install regular HD cable box to get my games. Anyone know why this is?
Thanks

@Papsey2019 Yes, it does.
@Papsey2019 -- a Shaw web-page lists the compatible hardware. That web-page may have outdated/incomplete information.
I recommend that you contact Shaw, and get the details directly from them.

Which TV box(es) do you have?
Shaw lets you have multiple BlueCurve boxes on one account, or multiple "non-BlueCurve" boxes on one account, but not a "mix" of BC/non-BC boxes on one account. They will force you to have 2 accounts, if you want to have a "mix".
I run 2 4k wireless boxes at the moment. I asked to get a coaxial plug in 4k box but those don't work this year. I had it last season on that box. I was told will not work on either 4k boxes this season why?
I wouldn't even think any of the NHL Centre Ice channels are broadcasting it's games in 4K yet. I don't know why the broadcast wouldn't work on Shaw's 4K boxes, pending the channel is available to watch, as Shaw hasn't made any 4K channels available yet.
It is only the wireless BlueCurve Xi6 boxes that will not work for Centre Ice, because of “technical restrictions.”
@Papsey2019 @rstra NHL Centre Ice will be available on all BlueCurve TV equipment this season, including wireless boxes. This package will be on free preview from January 13-19, and will be available for order starting on January 14.
Thanks for the update @shaw-valerie
Thank you for clearing this up! @shaw-valerie
I should clarify and ask does this include the 4k wireless boxes @shaw-valerie
@Papsey2019 Yes, it does.
