@rstra -- Should I keep waiting?
Yes.
As I previously wrote, Shaw's "outgoing" E-mail server will make multiple attempts to send to the "sjrb.ca" mail-server, to try to compensate for broken Internet links, and offline mail-servers.
Typically for mail-servers, the "retries" occur every 15 minutes for 72 hours, before declaring your message as "undeliverable".
@mdk Since it has been 5 months, I will probably consider it delivered.
@rstra -- Unless something has changed recently
Of course, Shaw makes "quiet" changes, e.g., outsourcing spam-checking to CloudFilter, and not-so-quiet changes, such as offering "Shaw Fibre+ 500 Mbps" (with the XB7 cable-modem) to new customers -- previously, new customers could get 300 or 750 (with the XB6 modem), but 500 was not offered.

It probably was, 5 months ago. But, if you try TODAY to send a new message to "internet.abuse@sjrb.ca", you should expect to get a "undeliverable" message 72 hours after you send it. Please give it a try, and report back, at that time.
@mdk Sent one on Tuesday morning, will see what happens tomorrow.
I received the following email from what appears to be a personal Shaw email address with the Subject line, 'Important Mail Change' with the message as follows:
Shaw) Webmail (logo)
"We received a request to terminate your account and the process has started by our Mail Team, Your Shaw account will be terminated in the next 48 hours.

Thanks you for your Attention

Note the various grammatical anomalies plus the link was to "www.websdadlive.com" so everyone beware!

@sn3modeler -- via: https://who.is/whois/websdadlive.com
you can see that this domain-name was first registered on May 6, 2022 -- two days ago.
That is one good reason to NOT trust it.
This now bounces back as undeliverable along with the reportspam@shaw.ca
@Elcs -- along with the reportspam@shaw.ca
Did you put MORE than one ID into the "TO:" and/or "CC:" and/or "BCC:" fields ?
Shaw does reject such E-mail that is attempted to be sent to more than one ID, if that "reportspam" ID is one of the IDs.
