@Snuffie01 -- What other good channels is Rogers going to decommission?

No Rogers employee who wants to keep their job will tell you anything that has not been officially announced. So, your question cannot be answered by anybody in this discussion forum.

When a channel shuts down, there is nothing that Rogers can do, short of buying the assets of the company that produced the channel, and taking over that company, if it makes economic sense to Rogers' Board of Directors.

Huh, this is already public as Shaw/Rogers has dropped the Paramount Network from the channels they offer to customers like me.  The Paramount Network is still operational.  Shaw/Rogers do not have to buy assets of Paramount Network to offer it to customers.  Tells offers the Paramount Network to its customers and Telus does not own assest on Paramount. Employees if Shaw/Rogers in the discussion can rely to their bosses that the action to drop Paramount from yhe lust of channels offered to customers is an unpopular decision.

@Snuffie01  Rogers has to pay a fee for carriage, if they can’t negotiate a good deal the channel gets dropped.
