shows recorded on one PVR do not show up on the other PVR

We have 2 tv's/PVR's. When I record a show on one tv/pvr I can't watch it on the other tv. It doesn't even show up. When I chose to see recordings on all pvr's or the other pvr it still isn't there. Any advice?

What manufacturer & model-number is each PVR?

The older PVRs recorded only onto the internal disk-drive, and did not have any "sharing" software between 2 PVRs, and did not support recording to Shaw's "cloud-server".

The newer BlueCurve TV players should allow viewing any recording on any player.
