Maybe shaw can act responsibly by not showing movies like Contagion, which is on Star 2 right now, during this worldwide health emergency.
When someone at Shaw reads this please escalate to management
rather than thinking it’s not important
thanks.
Shaw is not responsible for the content, you would need to contact the broadcaster, in this case, Starz, Crave and Netflix.

I found this movie to be a reasonable dramatization of a virus outbreak. More education than entertainment. The movie focused on the numbers scenarios of a virus pandemic. Removing the movie would be a disservice as it offers, in some cases, more factual information than many internet fake news sources.
Actually, it appears that customers want to watch it. It's currently the #3 rental on iTunes.
I watched it a few days ago, and it actually goes into detail on the science behind it. Censoring the video sounds actually like a bad thing, some people need to see how just something as innocent as shaking hands, can make a difference to the health of others.
This isn't China, we don't try to censor films. Below is a really great article from CBC about how much the movie gets right.
You're an adult (I'm presuming), If you have anxiety about the situation, don't watch movies about it. I'm actually glad I watched it, I learnt a few things.
Gee, that’d kinda be like getting pissed at your internet service provider over some of the tripe on YouTube, or the fact that adult content can be accessed by anyone certifying themselves to not be a robot, and over the age of 18.
Just watch something else, like American Idol, or Dancing with the Stars.
