Why are random tv shows and movies being recorded on my pvr?

I keep getting random shows and movies recording all the time and shows added to my pvr list that no one in my house has added to the list

That is very odd. Which PVR do you have and what troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

I have the same problem. What was the solution?

Did you "save" a "search", i.e., record all programs with "Stanley" (as in "Stanley Cup") as they become listed in the Guide?

Or, maybe, some shorter string of characters, e.g., "the" ?

Review your list of scheduled series.

This happens to me all the time!! It’s so annoying. I live alone in a condo. There is no explanation.

Last year, I wrote:

If those search-parameters are remotely stored by Shaw, i.e., not on any of your last 3 Arris Gateway PVRs, then each PVR was doing the same search, as per your request.
