According to the Shaw support documents, the Xfinity Stream app is available for IOS. I use it on my IPad , but was wondering about installing it on the Apple TV device. I search the apps on the Apple TV and don’t see it there. Also, would the Xfinity Stream app work on a Mac Mini M4?
@cbcwpg There is no app for AppleTV. You could use the browser version for the Mac Mini. There is an app for the FireTV.
@cbcwpg -- Rogers' online documentation references: https://rogersxfinitystream.rogers.com
On my Windows desktop, after I enter my Rogers ID & password, I get this error-message:

@cbcwpg -- have you tried: https://rogersxfinitystream.shaw.ca
on your Mac Mini?
This page says that Windows 7 & 8 are not supported (after October 31, 2024).
No one uses Windows 7 or 8 anymore, do they?
@michaelstein -- I know of one "hobbyist" who uses Virtual Machines. One VM runs Windows XP. Another VM runs Windows 2000. Another VM runs Windows XP. Another VM runs Windows 7 Home. Another VM runs Windows 8 Professional. Of course, not all at the same time. 🙂
Long gone are the days when the Bank of Montreal's ATM systems ran Microsoft OS/2 Warp. Once, I watched their ATM reboot OS/2 Warp Connect, and then it launched their "front-end".
QED
I ended up getting the Mac Mini from Costco, so I could return it when it doesn’t work.
I went into the App Store on the mini and there was an app for streaming Shaw, but after installing it, running it, and logging in… it would always give me “you have requested an invalid address” and then stop.
i went into the Safari browser , went to the link to get streaming TV , and I could log in and get the full channel directory, but when I try to watch a show it would fail with a strange cache error saying it was retrying, and then it would fail. If I just kept trying it again , after 3 or 4 tries and logging in, it would actually work and you could stream TV. But if you logged out of the Shaw web page or rebooted the Mac Mini, the whole failing with this cache error would start all over again.
That, and my usb keyboard disconnecting even 15 minutes, wasn’t worth the effort. Returned the Mac mini and will be getting a Windows 11 laptop.
