You can download video footage from the Rogers Xfinity app to your mobile device for offline viewing. Follow the instructions on this page to download video footage.

Note: Footage can only be downloaded through the Rogers Xfinity app on a mobile device. They can't be downloaded to your TV.

Downloading video footage

Downloading video footage from the Rogers Xfinity app is useful for watching the videos when you don't have access to the internet, or for keeping footage beyond the 7-day period that they're saved in cloud storage.

  1. Open the Rogers Xfinity app (Apple App Store | Google Play Store) on your mobile device.
    • Sign in with your Shaw ID and password if you're not already signed in.
  2. Select the Home tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the image of the camera feed you wish to view.
  4. Select the video clip you wish to view based on the timestamp and motion type (People, Pets, or Vehicles).
  5. Select the download icon (downward-pointing arrow) in the upper right corner.
  6. Find the saved clip on your device.
    • Android: This will be in your Videos folder in the file manager app.
    • Apple: This will save to your Photos.
