All of my emails have been deleted from My inbox from the last three years !
my inbox won’t even hold five messages for a few days they just keep disappearing off my phone ...
I haven’t changed my settings in all the time I’ve had my email so not sure what’s happening?
I have Shaw web mail and they are still there but they’re disappearing off of my email system on my phone which I’ve never changed anything on my phone at all..
i’ve had my emails on my phone forever they just started disappearing all of them..
@Enlightened777 -- do you access your E-mail from more than one device? Is one of your devices using POP (Post Office Protocol) to download the messages to that one device?
Have you enabled "only show UNREAD messages" within your E-mail program, i.e., hide the messages that you have opened?
This has happened to me as well. I spent two hours last night and another hour this morning with the reps six different ones and no one gave me a solution. They told me I had to delete emails to make more room. I’ve never encountered this before and my mailbox is usually quite full. They are gone from webmail and on my phone. All of my SENTS from the end of October till today disappeared from my sent folder. They are not in the trash and there’s no way I would’ve trash them anyway. They said they can be restored from the trash but they’re not in the trash. Help! This is very frustrating. Also they said there is no way to search for attachments to deleteThem. This would be the most effective way to clean up and empty my mail to find the big file attachments - I can’t believe there isn’t a way to do this. Very frustrating - any help appreciated.
@gromit -- Also they said there is no way to search for attachments to delete them.
Fake news. With Shaw WebMail, there are many column-headings:
Click on that icon immediately to the right of "Size" to show all the messages that do have an attachment. Click again to show all the messages that do not have an attachment.
Or, click on "Size" to order the messages by size -- smallest to the top. Click again to order the messages with largest to the top.
