@Bbloomer -- you should be getting "2GIG" coming in to your cable-modem.
Run the Shaw Speed Test simultaneously on two high-end desktop computers. Both tests should simultaneously show "930 Mbps", assuming that the network-adapters inside each desktop are "10/100/1000" capable. So, your "total" throughput should approach "2GIG".
Note that only one of the Ethernet ports on the XB7 are capable of higher-than-1TBit speed. To fully exploit that port, you'll need a high-end (expensive) Ethernet adapter that is capable of "over-1TBit" speeds inside one computer. If you have a fast desktop computer, and that ultra-fast adapter, you should see up to 2 Tbit.
If you have a fast notebook computer that is "Wireless AC" capable, the Shaw Speed Test should show up to 1.2 Tbit/second.
Is the "WAN" port on the EERO capable of "over-1TB" speed? If so, connect that port to the "over-1TB" Ethernet socket on the XB7, so that WiFi-using notebook computers can receive at up to 1.2 Tbit/second, while connected to your "mesh".
