Bridging Eero mesh with XB7

We have a Eero mesh system and the XB7 with shaw on the 2GIG plan.

Which device should be in bridge mode and which ethernet ports can we and should we use to plug into each other?

We aren't getting the greatest speeds. (Not terrible, but no where close to 2GB

@Bbloomer -- you should be getting "2GIG" coming in to your cable-modem.

Run the Shaw Speed Test simultaneously on two high-end desktop computers. Both tests should simultaneously show "930 Mbps", assuming that the network-adapters inside each desktop are "10/100/1000" capable.  So, your "total" throughput should approach "2GIG".

Note that only one of the Ethernet ports on the XB7 are capable of higher-than-1TBit speed.  To fully exploit that port, you'll need a high-end (expensive) Ethernet adapter that is capable of "over-1TBit" speeds inside one computer. If you have a fast desktop computer, and that ultra-fast adapter, you should see up to 2 Tbit.

If you have a fast notebook computer that is "Wireless AC" capable, the Shaw Speed Test should show up to 1.2 Tbit/second.

Is the "WAN" port on the EERO capable of "over-1TB" speed?  If so, connect that port to the "over-1TB" Ethernet socket on the XB7, so that WiFi-using notebook computers can receive at up to 1.2 Tbit/second, while connected to your "mesh".
