Can i use a router instead of my modem?

Hey i was wondering if i can use a router instead of my modem/router the CGNM-2250

and i was wondering if i could do use a router.

You can use your own router if you prefer, but you would need to get the Hitron modem put into bridge mode. If you get in touch with our customer support team they can switch it to bridge mode for you.
