As the subject states, we cannot receive email from Gmail users, but (as far as we know) can receive email from everyone else. The Gmail user does not receive a bounce; the email just vanishes. I can reproduce the issue with my own Gmail account.
We have the spam filtering set to "Label message as Spam and keep in Inbox" but I checked the Spam and Trash folders just in case. Spam Mail Options is empty and Filters is also empty.
Using Webmail, so no configuration issues to worry about with a mail client.
Anyone else?
I sent a couple of test messages, they came through, but were delayed for several minutes.
@Graham15 -- years ago, Shaw would "rate-limit" the number of messages from one specific BC university to various Shaw E-mail IDs. So, after the first NNNNN messages, counting from 11 PM Pacific (midnight in Calgary/Edmonton), Shaw would block all further messages, until the next 11 PM Pacific. So, delays were often 1 or 2 days. Maybe, your ISP is rate-limiting messages from GMail users ???
