I had this same problem, and finally, enlisted a 3 rd party company ( Netpros LLP) to resove my issue ( which they did in about 10 minutes!), but at a cost of $39.95 U.S. ( about $50 CAD). I am not a technician, when I called Shaw telling them that my printer was offline since the new modem/router was installed, they said that the problem was at my end. Anyway, Netpros LLp remotely entered the router, added another digit to the Gateway IP, and suddenly my printer was on line again, after a couple minutes of him toggling back and forth between the router  and me- starting up the "network connection" on my printer again. He may have made another change to the WPS on the router, I just cant remember, as I am not a techie. The point is- that a Shaw tech could have done this over the phone with me, and they refused. After a virtual chat with them today, I was told that the only job the techs need to be responsible for - is ensuring that I have a WIFI connection to my computer and that the speed is sufficient. Nothing else.

Did you get this sorted out? You have to go into your modem settings here:  http://192.168.0.1/login.htm

The sign in information is on your modem. Good luck, this worked for me!

Thank you so much. I changed to Auto(WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK) and it worked. The only problem is on my WIFI setting it says “weak security”.
