I have have trying to set up a new email address and designate it EXCHANGE. system refused that. tried to do MAPI - same thing. will only accept POP. I use OUTLOOK 2016 - uninstalled and re-installed...

@sashak that is certainly odd. The steps here should work for Outlook 2016. What error messages came up when you tried?
