i do not want password remembered

We recently had a new modem installed and now my email password is remembered automatically.  I want to be prompted to enter it when I access email.  Where do I change this?  My Shaw only has a place to change the password

Have you looked to see if this is a browser setting to remember passwords.

How you change it is based on the browser but one method to confirm would be to try a private browser window (or incognito browser)

I doubt that the problem is correlated to the change in modems.

The password is "remembered" only on that one web-page, and it is "remembered" only because the E-mail ID also is "remembered".

Remove the value of the E-mail ID from that input field, and your web-browser will remind you that there is a stored password associated with that ID, and that if you remove the ID, you will remove the stored password, and will ask you if you really wish to proceed.
