I've been having intermittent internet for a month now ever since changing to Shaw BlueCurve, and I have followed all the steps to troubleshooting intermittent internet. I have unplugged the power cord from the modem and have restarted the modem multiple times. I have even unscrewed the cable from the modem as well a few of those times. But even when the internet is back online, it will often go offline several times a day. The internet is not consistent in everyday life and I'm now concerned that it may be the modem itself. Will Shaw be able to replace my modem with a new one?
Probably an issue with your actual coax cable, it is either loose or you broke it. Unplug the cable and reverse it. 0/I is usually that. If it fails call Shaw so a technician can help or exchange your modem.
@Playaprez -- a Shaw Agent can remotely logon to your modem, to view and interpret the "signal-strength" reaching the modem. Poor signal-strength does cause problems. No need to wait a few days for a "site-visit".
