Hi. I cannot figure this out. I have been using the Outlook App for iOS for a very long time without issue with my 6 different family email accounts, everything is updated to current version, never had any issues. Settings are as defined here for active sync
On December 23 all accounts stopped syncing for no apparent reason on all my iOS devices. Multiple iphones, and several iPads.
Shaw webmail continues to work as expected, just nothing syncs to iOS with Outlook App and Active Sync settings anymore.
Any emails sent on any iOS device where i have my email configured puts the emails into Draft
Nothing is ever downloaded after December 23
if i remove all accounts, delete Outlook App for iOS, add back the email accounts, they only download email to December 23rd, nothing afterwards.
Any ideas what could cause this?
@FrankL Hmm, that is certainly odd. I haven't heard of any reports of this issue. It may be a password related issue (password is not strong enough for Activesync settings). When you send emails via https://webmail.shaw.ca/ do you see them show up in your sent folders?
Hi, well this is odd. I had colleagues test this at work and their Active-sync was not working either.
But just now i tried again and it is suddenly working.
I have made no changes whatsoever, so i cannot explain how Active-sync would not work for the past 2 weeks on multiple email accounts and then just today, poof it works,
Either way, thanks for the response.
This very situation is happening to my Outlook on iPad for the last few days. It had been working fine until Dec 13, 2020. I have deleted and reinstalled the latest Outlook for ipad which installed and allowed me to connect OK to my Shaw Exchange server which synced emails and activities up to Dec 13 only. I note that there was an update to the Outlook App released two weeks ago to 4.2048.1. Interesting cooincidence yes! I had a similar failure to sync several months ago just like this but it magically started working again after I gave up struggling with it.
