Any ideas how to get them talking.
When I had an Asus and bridged the old modem all was good, change to the new improved last year, cannot get past the connect to WiFi on the LG app.
Any hints?
Thank you!

Did you assign one SSID for the 2.4 Ghz band, and a different SSID for the 5 Ghz band?
Any modern iPhone should "see" both SSIDs.
How? I turn the slider to split.
Goes back to off, what step am I missing?
@gordn -- this is a common thread within this discussion forum. Your new cable-modem has one SSID for the two networks (2.4 Ghz & 5 Ghz). You can configure the cable-modem to have one SSID for 2.4 Ghz service, and a different SSID for 5 Ghz service. Then, on your LG, configure it to connect to whichever network works for you/it.
P.S. I am assuming that your ASUS router is not active, so that your devices now connect to the new cable-modem.
OK, I searched LG and I searched appliance, got nuthin'.
Thanks, I will look. Correct, the Asus is now gone.

In the same way that you previously configured it to connect to a previous SSID, choose the new SSID after you have "split" the cable-modem's WiFi.
Did the LG come with a "Quick Start" guide?
Or, Google-search "how to connect LG applicance to WiFi", to try to find something useful to you.
Using Ignite HomeConnect
Sign in to the Ignite HomeConnect app using your MyRogers username and password.
Select WiFi then, WiFi details.
Select Edit WiFi settings.
Confirm whether or not Use different names and passwords for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi box is checked. <--- THIS DOES NOT SHOW UP ON THE APP I HAVE
If it is not checked, then Bandsteering is already turned on.
If it is checked:
1. Uncheck the box.
2. Update your WiFi Name and Wifi Password.
3. Select Apply Changes to turn Bandsteering on.
@gordn Do you see “split bands (not recommended)”
Do you have ignite pods installed?
I do, and I slid it "on". "Save", check wifi, no splits, go back in the app, it's turned "off"
I do not have pods no.
