Out of curiosity... was it Shaw or Rogers who decided to discontinue giving users Mcafee Internet Security and telling users to use Windows Defender. Why did they do this? If it was Rogers, they sure seem to be doing a lot of crazy and insane things.
@wynford -- Shaw/Rogers will let you continue to use McAfee, when it is already installed. They will not let you download it, either to install on a "new" computer, nor to reinstall on a "current" computer.
Probably, no "insider" at Shaw/Rogers who wants to keep their job will "leak" a response to your "was it ...." question.
I know that, but what was the reason behind discontinuing it. I don't use it myself, but I know people who do and who were thinking about it
@wynford Probably to make way for Advanced Security.
