Just FYI that there's been an internet outage for more than an hour; Shaw is aware and confirmed field techs are working on it, but it's not posted on the main Outage page yet.
Solved! Go to Solution.
@GibsonM -- on Shaw's Southern Alberta Outages page, I see:
Jan 12- Calgary (Mountain park) | All Services - Outage (Resolved)
Jan 12– Calgary (Varsity) | All Services - Outage (Fix in progress)
Using Google Maps to determine how far Calgary is from McKenzie Lake & Varsity & Mountain Park is left as an exercise for the reader.

Thanks MDK. At the time I posted, they hadn't put the Mountain Park one up, and once they did to say it was resolved the network went down again for about an hour. It's all resolved now 🙂
Note: Varsity is the opposite end of the city
Internet is down in McKenzie lake currently??
@bsouthworth -- if it is down, check that "Shaw Outages" page for Southern Alberta, if that is the region that includes McKenzie Lake.
There is a McKenzie Lake north of Sooke, another one north of Thetis Lake Park (View Royal area of Greater Victoria), and one west of Courtenay (BC). Which one is closest to you?
TV also out 08:45pm Jan 28'23
@David0727 -- where do you live? It could be a "regional" outage. Did any of your neighbours have an outage?
Check Shaw's Outages page, for your region.
Also, did you lose all the channels, or just one channel?
For a while yesterday, the Sportsnet channel had no audio, but all other channels were fine.
