@shaw-tony -- I was just told, via online chat, that internet.abuse@sjrb.ca is "only for internal use", and that I must use "reportspam@shaw.ca".
When I try to send to the former ID, in about 3 days, I get a "connection refused" message.
Hi I did not realise these were automated messages and that i had unlimited space anyway, i deleted all my existing emails and now contacts on my list cannot send me a email, did i mess something up?
My problem is different. When I get to my quota, I empty all my folders, but I'm still at 70% of my quota. How do I get to zero?
@Iain64 & @Soshin -- did you select your "Trash" (or "Deleted Items") folder, and delete everything from that folder?
Inside your home, everything you put into the garbage bin in your kitchen can be "undeleted". Even taking that bin, and dumping it into the outside trash-bin, does not truly delete the item. In rare cases, even after the curb-side garbage pickups are done, to empty the outside bin, your garbage can be "undeleted". Similar to your E-mail: a message moves from your "Inbox" to your "Trash" folder, but you occasionally need to empty that "Trash" folder, to stay below your Shaw "quota" of messages.
Has anybody else noted that the "quota" is now TWO gigabytes, where it used to be ONE gigabyte?
@mdk Yes, I see that in webmail.
