When can the Duncan service disruption be fixed? 2 full days now and very little help from Rogers staff. My neighbor is doing great with TELUS and many others are looking to change providers asap.
Yes there is an outage! Westhome and Duncan are on the list for Victoria ect. No one at Rogers will give any information as to why it’s taking so long for repair. Several people are out of service.
@wewood Nothing on the outage page. You will need to contact Rogers again, Rogers employees don’t really monitor here.
@wewood -- I checked www.BChydro.com/outages and found information about the South Island, updated a few minutes ago. Last Monday's extreme weather (winds over 110 KPH) has caused trees to fall on their power-lines).

On Vancouver Island, crews have been working around-the-clock to restore customers after severe winds caused extensive damage to our system. While nearly all customers who lost power from the initial storm have been restored, the scale of the damage, access issues, and new wind systems has made restoration difficult in some areas.
We currently have crews working on the remaining small pockets of outages. This includes crews on Gabriola Island, Quadra Island, Cortes Island, and in Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanoose Bay, and on Thetis/Penelakut Island, and Mudge Island.
