@Wayned -- also, if yesterday's extremely-windy weather has caused power issues, check www.bchydro.com/outages (if you can access the Internet) to look for BC Hydro problems in rural Metchosin. If the wind has blown-down a tree over some power-lines, interrupting power to the Rogers/Shaw network infrastructure, you'll have to wait until BC Hydro remediates. Pity those people living on Gulf Islands -- the ferries to those islands were not running during yesterday's extreme (over 110 KPH) winds. So, their technicians cannot get to the island to make repairs. Sigh.
