As the subject says...why can I no longer access shawconnect.ca, where is it or better yet what has it been replaced with that has the same news coverage?

ShawConnect.ca is now decommissioned and will redirect you to Shaw.ca. A notice was posted on the webpage shortly after my response above. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Why was no notice given that this service was being removed?
I agree, the last thing I want when I start my browser is a bunch of Shaw ads. Where is the news etc that was there before. Really annoying. I called Shaw and they had no idea that it had changed.

@darewreck @PeteF @SW28 the redirect was an error. We have resolved this error and the site is working again. If there are any changes to the site, customers will receive advanced notice. I'm sorry for any frustrations this may have caused.

I am still having that problem. The redirect is to a page of Shaw advertising and not to the news page.

When I sign-out from Shaw WebMail, a new page opens at "www.shawconnect.ca" and then there is a 2 to 3 second "pause", before the "www.shaw.ca" is displayed.
Are you observing a much-longer "pause" before seeing this latter page?
