My situation: My PC would default connect to the gateway and I would receive sppeds 175 to 200 Mbs. When it was fortunate enought to connect to the closest POD it woudl increase to 500+ Mbs.
reddit user Lgamerday found this solution (that works) "...Yes, there is a program for Windows called NetSetMan. Works perfectly, you can pick whatever pod or gateway you want and force the machine to connect to it..."
Simple to use and lets me connect directly to a pod or gateway.
