Regardless of whether I use Outlook, the Shaw webmail or from my phone, when I try to send email to a Telus address I get:
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently:
* xxxxxx@telus.net
Reason: This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.Delivery to the following recipient(s) failed after 4 seconds: * xxxxxx@telus.netError: * ?? ??
I tried removing emails from my sent directory to see if that was the problem but it didn't help. I can send to other emails like Gmail and my work and other Shaw addresses, but Telus always bounce. From my work and my gmail I can send to Telus, just not from Shaw.
Any suggestions as to what the problem is?
Thanks,
Glenys
Hey glenysm,

Receiving a similar message on one of my filters in my inbox:
Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently:
*xxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com
Reason: This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.Delivery to the following recipient(s) failed after 173821 seconds: * Error: * ?? ??
Can you provide an update on this error?
@TrevorRitchie this issue was resolved a while ago and I haven't seen any recent examples. Is that the exact email address that it's showing as permanently failed or are there others?
Hi there, I am having the same issue tonight. I am unable to email my wife at work. Is there a reason for this or something that can be done?
@Paul_Nichols -- I am having the same issue tonight.
Which issue? Is it "unable to deliver after 4 seconds", or "failed after 173821 seconds" ?
> I am unable to email my wife at work.
Are you sending from your Shaw ID, or from a Yahoo ID or a Hotmail ID or a GMail ID?
Are you sending to your wife's GMail ID while she is at work, or sending to an ID provided by her employer?
> Is there a reason for this or something that can be done?
Yes, there is a reason -- but that reason is not yet determined.
Yes, something can be done, with enough additional information, including the full text of the error-message.
I get this message:

Just information that it was not a person who created the E-mail.

Is that all that you see? There should be a few more lines, probably both before and after this line.
Two examples:

Hi have the same issue with two email addreses on Cogeco. The Telus addresses seem to work for us. One account my messages always bounce back for the the other account they often bounce back but not always. It doesn't matter whether I initiate the message or respond to a message from the other person. In all failure cases we get the
