Transferring Internet connections to new computers

An easy question, I hope. We have Shaw tv, phone, & Internet.

Our 2 existing desktop computers are hard-wired in separate rooms of our apt. 2nd computer is hard-wired via long extension cord (home network/LAN) . For Shaw Internet we have a Motorola SB5101 Surfboard Cable Modem. Also bought a Cisco Linksys EA2700 (Wi-Fi Wireless Router) used for a tablet & laptop and it's connected to Shaw's Motorola cable modem.

Before the end of 2019 we'll buy 2 new desktop computers. Question: For Internet can I just re-connect whatever Internet connections are going into the old computers to the new computers? And the existing home network will work?

Thanks.

No sweat. Easy-pea-zee. 🙂

From the User Guide for your Cisco Linksys EA2700, you can connect up to 4 Ethernet cables to it, and all 4 computers on your home network will share your Internet connection.
