I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO ATTACH EITHER!!  BEEN ON THE PHONE SO MANY TIMES THAT I CANT BRING MYSELF TO SPEAK TO THEM ANYMORE.  I JUST JUGGLE BETWEEN GMAIL AND USE SHAW VERY LITTLE NOW.  SOON IT WILL BE NIL.

These are screenshots from my iPhone XS, iOS 15.1, Chrome version 96.0.4664.53. There is nothing to tap to add any sort of attachment. It's not a question of what file type it is, it's not a problem with my phone. IT'S A PROBLEM WITH SHAW WEBMAIL MOBILE. I had the same problem on my iPhone SE (2016) and Shaw STILL hasn't fixed it. WHY?

I'm having this same issue on an Android phone with Chrome. Just read through the thread and it's unfortunate that this is still an issue after all this time.

The problem seems to be simple. The "Attach" button has been removed from the mobile version of the webmail interface. Shaw needs to contact the mobile email application developer and have them add the attach button back into the "reply" or "new email" view.

Is it an icon of a "folder" ?

   Thanks for following up. 
   The left of the magnifying glass icon is the folder icon and it takes you to a screen for task management and such.
  I had to configure Shaw mail on my phones Gmail app just so I could add an attachment, which does work in Gmail. 
   You can see in the screenshot that there is no button or paperclip to add an attachment in the mobile Webmail interface. The options at the bottom are the same of the page are the same. 
   On my PC Shaw Webmail has an attachment paper clip it's just missing from the mobile version of the webmail web page. 
 
I don't use my Shaw email for much anymore but do occasionally still get emails. And now that I have Shaw email working on my Gmail app I probably won't need to use Shaw Webmail from my phone. But, attaching files is a basic feature and should be corrected on the mobile version of the Shaw Webmail pages.

@UncleHAL9001 Glad to know that you've found a workaround to add your Shaw webmail account to the Gmail app for sending out an attachment. Please submit this feedback via “Your Voice” on our website to add an "Attach" button to the Compost/Reply window for the Shaw Webmail with mobile devices. We can share it with the appropriate stakeholders, and your feedback will be tracked and reported on.

   I have submitted the bug fix/enhancement request to Shaw "Your Voice". FYI, your link above to Your Voice is incorrect "http://%20https//bit.ly/3EG0W4i" it should be "https://bit.ly/3EG0W4i".

   One last note. The Shaw instructions for configurating Shaw email in the Gmail app on an Android device are also incorrect. You need to specify your user name and password for authorization in addition to the email settings indicated in the Shaw FAQ.
