XB8 and XiOne in Winnipeg

Has anyone tried the XB8...and if so is it better than the XB7

Also has anyone tried the XiOne...and if so os it better than the Xi6?

They XB8 is great as a stand alone (not in bridge mode) and if you have the equipment that will take advantage of the equipment.  Also you’ll need to be running the .1.5 gig plan. I gave it a go and really didn’t notice a difference.  Same with the XiOne, I have one of these and the previous model, and honestly I don’t see a difference.  The app switch seem be a bit faster but I don’t use the apps.

I have had both for a couple of months now.

The XB8 makes a HUGE difference as far as the distance the signal travels as well as how well the signal goes through walls and past firnace etc.

The wifi gives me constant 750+ on an iphone...so there's also that

The XiOne is a little better than the Xi6 in that when playing back recordings it doesn't get stuck much...although it's advisable to restart everything once or twice a week if you use it a lot.
