24 Hour Adult Swim Channel Coming To SHAW ????

Hopefully SHAW adds this and doesn't just drop the Action channel.

So apparently some Canadian cable companies ( Telus, Rogers and Videotron so far ) have already announced that they will be carrying this new channel. Can anybody here from SHAW let us know what the plan is. Hopefully they won't just drop the Action channel ( like they did with Vintage ) after the name/content switch.

We appreciate the enthusiasm but unfortunately we don't have any information to share on this yet. That said, if we do end up carrying this channel it will be announced on Free Previews, Free Channels | TV - Shaw

Tamara - thanks for the quick reply. That being said - it's not exactly a new channel as you already carry the Action channel. I just wanted to know if SHAW was going to keep carrying the channel after the switch or would they just drop it like they did for Vintage TV.

Any news on this channel yet ???? They are doing a 2 month free preview when they launch on April 1st.

Adult Swim will be available for a two-month free preview from April 1 to May 31, 2019. Viewers will also be able to watch full episodes On Demand free until January 2020.

So looking at the Gateway on-screen listings the change in programming is starting at 3 am on April 1st. Since this is less than 2 weeks away I find it ridiculous that there has been no official word from SHAW on their own site or from a SHAW representative here whether or not SHAW will be keeping this new channel or just dropping it like they did for Vintage TV when that channel rebranded a few months ago. Come on guys - how about an update.

So now that Adultswim is here.  I know it's on free preview, but what happens after?

Do we have to subscribe to this channel after the free preview? What package is it part of on Bluesky?
