30 second skip has disappeared
Neither 3x exit 0030 shaw or 3x exit 0030 OK restores the 30 ssecond skip
Problem solved, unplug unit for 15 seconds plug back in 30 second skip restored without reentering sequence
I did the exit-exit-exit 0030 and tested it and it didn't work until after I went into settings/help and restarted the receiver
Followed your advice an Voila, 30 seconds skip forward back working. no programing needed. Thank you so much. I watch football games that I recorded and 30 forward work let me speed the game along. 30 seconds is just right to skip from the end of one play to the start of the next.
Thank you for this tip. Worked for me. Cant understand how Rogers/ Shaw can’t find a better system than this crappy Ignite TV
@Deadly1 -- Cant understand how Rogers/ Shaw can’t find a better system
Not a "monopoly", but it is a "duopoly" -- use the Shaw/Rogers/Comcast box, or use the TELUS box.
AFAIK, there are no other competitors.
Try pushing the 'A' button on your remote and then 'restart'.
Turn your TV off.
Push Exit - Exit - Exit -0-0-3-0 then okay button.
Should work.
This worked for me. Thank you for posting this.
The problem was also solved, unplugged the unit for 15 seconds and plugged it back in, the 30-second skip was restored without reentering the sequence.
@kenohrn -- pick up the Rogers remote control. Hold-down the blue-coloured lit-up button, and say "30 seconds", or "3 minutes", then release the button. Anything you recorded should accept your command.
