I have BlueCurve (Winnipeg) with an Xi6 and get both Sportsnet in 4K and Sportsnet 1 in 4K on channels 217 and 218 respectively and the picture is outstanding.

The channel is there but these broadcasts are not 4K.  Sportsnet typically will only broadcast in 4K when the jays are home.

Big Deal !!  SHAW direct equipment is so antiquated, it will not offer 4K !  they know their company is going under and people are switching to other suppliers or simply flipping to streaming services.  RIP Shaw .. you were good in the begining but failed miserably in keeping up with technology.  An HDPVR that can only handle one feed to record????  come on.!

Where did you get such false information?

In my home, my "antique" [2015] Shaw Gateway HD PVR has SIX tuners, allowing me to record 5 while watching 1.

HDPVRs can record a maximum of two programs simultaneously, or only one if you're operating in Single Tuner Mode (you have only one coax cable coming from your dish).
