BlueCurve TV Ethernet connectivity

My home is already wired for Ethernet, including to my workshop.  I'm wondering if the BlueCurve TV boxes can be connected via Ethernet, or if they are WiFi only.  Due to the construction of my home, the workshop cannot be served by the house's wireless access point.

EDIT: to clarify, I'm located on Vancouver Island and am interested in the Xi6 BlueCurve TV Players and associated gateway.  I see the Xi6 hardware information page lists Ethernet as optional, but I wanted to be sure before proceeding.
