BlueSky/Curve box Video Display setting issue

Hi there,

Has anyone run into an issue where it doesn't save the Video Display setting? I set mine to 16:9, 2160p60 4K UHD because that's what my TV supports, but the unit will occasionally drop the setting down to 16:9 1080p60 HD, and I have to reset it to16:9, 2160p60 4K UHD.

Any known reason why this happens? I feel as though it happens whenever there's a FW update or something.  I usually only notice the switch when I go into my AVR's settings menu - if the BlueSky/Curve box is set to 4K UHD, the AVR's menu overlay will be black, but if the setting is 1080p60 HD, that same AVR menu overlay will be transparent.

Nope, the HDMI from the BlueSky/Curve box goes into a Marantz SR6014 AVR.

Does the Marantz support 4K? The BlueCurve box does that HDMI handshake to determine the best resolution, in this case, the Marantz.

I suspect the TV box is sensing a setting limitation in the receiver. Try running everything through the TV. Then connect audio from tv arc to receiver. Turn CEC on all devices.
