New Shaw remote ("champ model"), controls everything but Shaw Box

Hey guys, here's a new one. Got a replacement Shaw remote for my parent's Gateway system. Got it all set up to control their TV (TCL), soundbar (Bowmaker), and Blu-ray (Panasonic).....no problem. Went to push "cbl" to get the Shaw Guide to come up....low and behold, the thing doesn't actually control the SHAW BOX ITSELF! And of course, every piece of documentation associated with the remote is for TV's and sound etc......no remote codes for a Shaw Gateway! How do I get it to control the Shaw box???

@Favelle75   You have the wrong remote, you need the Arris MP2000 remote to work with the Gateway system.

We have the Shaw box XG1v3...the Champion remote is the one that came with it.

@Favelle75  In your original post  you said you had a Gateway.  The XG1v3 is a BlueCurve box, and the remote for that box is the XR11 or XR15.
