Just setup a new streaming box but it doesn't switch the HDMI source, how do you set it up to change to the correct one when powering on?
So not as high tech as a six year old Amazon Fire Stick then!
There is a button for for selecting source on the controller but thought it would be able to change it's self when powered on.

1. The Rogers TV box never really is "off" -- until you disconnect its electrical power-cord.
2. Pressing the POWER button on the Rogers remote turns off your TV, not the Rogers TV box.
3. Which manufacturer/model of TV do you have that can possibly sense the "active" input (coaxial, HDMI-1, HDMI-2, composite, component) and switch itself when you power-on another audio/video source?

Google "HDMI CEC"
As I said Amazon Fire Stick is capable of changing input!

Yes, on my Sony, no on my Hisense.
My Sony Bravia A90J doesn't recognize the Xfinity cable box model number, "SBCI11BEI" only the manufacturer name, Xfinity. I have to select the INPUT source with the Xfinity remote. With the previous model Arris cable box, it was recognized and always switched to the HDMI source everytime when turning on the TV.
rob190 - The Xfinity is capable of changing source but it needs to know where too, I haven't found anywhere to set this! Next to no info on Rogers Monopoly support site!
