Recorded programs unavailable

This happens quite frequently. I have recorded programs stored and when I want to watch them, the program will start, then a message appears that the program cannot be accessed. The legacy PVRs were more reliable for playback. After 8 months with Blue Curve I am forming the opinion that the technology has not yet matured.

@pinnrob This must be annoying! 😞 Do you know what channel you've recorded the program/show from? Are you still subscribed to that channel? It's possible you've recorded the program from a free preview channel that you are not subscribed to and this is what happens, you can record but won't be accessible since you're not subscribed to the channel. Please check your channel subscription. Hope this helps! 😊

This happens with recordings that have been made from channels to which we have ongoing subscriptions.  It is as if the system goes to retrieve a program but the server that contains the recording is too busy to respond, so the "try again later" message comes up. There are also annoying interruptions during playback that give the impression that there is only a partial recording, yet when going back to try later, the recording is fine. Here are some of the channels on which this happens: CHEK, DIY, HGTV, although there are more channels with which we have had this experience. There also is an issue when a program is still recording and we want to watch it from the beginning. Blue Curve customers pay for and expect reliable service - not an unreliable bleeding edge technology. As I stated in my initial post, the legacy PVRs had much more reliable playback performance.
