We are generally happy with our Wireless tv boxes but at least once a day the sound on our Samsung TV shuts of. (as if someone pushed the mute button). This only happens on our Samsung TV. The other Panasonic TV is fine. To get back the sound I change inputs from the TV box HDMI input to our USB input. The sound is fine there and upon returning to the HDMI the sound is on. It seems somehow the sound from the TV box is triggered to turn off and by connecting to another sound source it is reconnected...Have phoned tech support a couple of times and they have tried refreshing the box but so far no luck. This happens only once a day and at seemingly arbitrary times...Has anyone else has this issue?
@bcarter That's a strange issue. Does the audio play through your TV speakers or do you have another audio device hooked up? What are the audio settings that you have configured on your BlueCurve TV box?
"It's working now since I changed the audio to "stereo" from "dolby +" (in settings). Seems the xi6 and TV lost audio when trying to connect dolby to the TV sound system. Had heard about this during my research so gave it a try. Don't know for sure that is was the problem, just that it cleared up the next day after I did it...Also could have be fixed with an overnight update. Anyway all is good. Thanks for asking,
