@arob99 I was referencing the time when Crave started charging extra for Starz when it had been included at no extra charge. This is a fact. Yes, it was part of a plan as well, and I was mistaken, but there were other ways that people subscribed.
This isn’t my job.

Actually, you can leave at any time. If you subscribe to Telus TV/Internet, they will pay the penalty ($30/month, times the number of remaining months) for breaking your official two-year contract with Shaw. Note that if you are NOT on a two-year Value Plan, or it has ended, then there is no penalty for immediately cancelling. [If you have Shaw Home Phone, and want to keep your telephone-number when switching to a Telus land-line, be sure to FIRST set up everything with Telus, and let Telus "port" your telephone-number away from Shaw.]
I feel exactly the same. With reductions in channels we should get a reduction in fee. I too am fed up with Shaw.
@srlord -- how many of the "removed" channels were you watching?
MTV stopped broadcasting. There is nothing that Rogers can do about that.
Are you watching the free-for-now USA Network? The newly-added Flavour channel?
It was part of the TV package, you could add on STARZ for a dollar, If you were adding crave. This was the original agreement, I did not receive any indication of this change either. So it was dropped, but again, no change in price in my subscription bill.
Same here. I had a the old Best of HD package from Shaw since setup 8 yrs ago. After about 3 years so about 5years ago, they added without charge, the Stars channels and I've had them approx 5 years now. I figured it was to help keep me as a customer, so nice freebie add on given what I pay/paid
Now, with Rogers' switch of the setup boxes, its been taken away! Argh! Now have to either pay for it or lose the old Best of HD package setup to make things more affordable... Total drag and not happy. To get the Disney+ which is included in other packages, I'd have to pay for it or I'd lose the old Best of HD package I have. Frustrating!
