Don't currently have ANY of the sports channels, would like access to Leafs games. Just Leafs. NHL.com shows the first two will air on SportsNet, but would that be SN1 or SN360? Would there be blackouts here in BC?
Solved! Go to Solution.
For the first 2 Leafs games listed at NHL.com, the Sportsnet logo (SN), would indicate the Sportsnet regional channels (East, Ontario, West, and Pacific). If the game doesn't mention any region specifically, as you may see SNE, SNO, SNW, and SNP... then the Sportsnet logo, or SN, would mean the game is airing on all of Sportsnet's regional channels, with no blackout. Note: Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet One are national channels, so any game being aired on those channels would be available all across Canada, with no blackout.
@Spiggy_Q_Topes -- blackouts in BC?
Take a look at the Stanley Cup Pass on NHL Live -- pay $29.99/month (plus taxes?) to watch the Leafs until they are eliminated, without the possibility of any blackouts.

Thanks! So, looking at Sportsnet's schedule, it looks like the regional channels are the ones to go for.

Perhaps, a "hybrid" solution -- watch the Leafs "play-in" games, for free, on SportsNet. If they advance, then spend the $29.99 to be sure that you will see all the Leafs games for one month. If there are simultaneous games on SportsNet, involving Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto, SportsNet may choose to broadcast a "west" game to us in the west, not the Leafs. So, if you "bleed blue", go with NHL Live, to be blackout-free.
What's needed to watch Leaf games ???? Just the understanding that your team will never beat my beloved Bruins in a Best of 7 series. 😁
@bostonbob -- are you saying that your BBB's will need all 7 games to defeat the Maple Leaves? 🙂

Nah - since they're playing all the games in Toronto the Leafs will win at least one game. 🤔
Might be worth losing just to see Marchand's face again when they lose in the final. That was a real treat.

Almost as much of a treat as realizing that all the pictures from the last time the Leafs won the Cup are in either B&W or scratched onto cave walls. 😆
