If you want to stop using one of your Ignite Indoor/Outdoor Cameras or Ignite Doorbell Cameras, you can remove it from the Ignite HomeConnect (Shaw) app so that it is no longer accessible through the app or your set-top box.

How to remove a security or doorbell camera

Below are the steps for removing an Ignite Indoor/Outdoor Camera (Wired)TM or Ignite Doorbell Camera (Wired)TM from your Ignite Self Protect home security system.

  1. Open the Ignite HomeConnect (Shaw) app (Apple App Store | Google Play Store) on your mobile device
    • You may need to sign in with your Shaw ID and password
  2. Navigate to the Home tab along the bottom of the screen
  3. Select the thumbnail of the camera feed you wish to remove (e.g. Front Door)

  4. Select Settings (gear icon) from the upper right corner
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Delete Camera
    • On the confirmation screen, select Delete Camera again to confirm the deletion

Note: If you wish to remove any additional cameras or doorbells, repeat the steps above for each additional camera.
