As a Shaw Internet customer, you can give each of your devices registered for Rogers WiFi Hotspots (formerly known as Shaw Go WiFi) a unique nickname. If you wish to rename your registered devices, visit the My Shaw website or download the My Shaw App (Apple App Store | Google Play Store).

Rename a device using the My Shaw website

To rename a registered Rogers WiFi Hotspots device using the My Shaw website:

  1. Visit my.shaw.ca.
  2. Sign in using your Shaw ID and password.
  3. Click My Services and select Internet from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to Rogers WiFi Hotspots devices.
  5. Click Edit next to the device you want to edit.
  6. Enter a new Name (nickname) for the device.
  7. Click Save.

Rename a device using the My Shaw App

To rename a registered Rogers WiFi Hotspots device using the My Shaw App (Apple App Store | Google Play Store).EditDevice1.jpg

  1. Open the My Shaw App.
  2. Tap the menu icon:
    • On an Apple device, tap the three dots (…) in the bottom right corner.
    • On an Android device, tap the three lines (☰) in the top left corner

  3. Tap Rogers WiFi Hotspots Devices.
  4. Tap the device you want to edit.
  5. Enter a new Device Name (nickname).
  6. Tap Save.
