Okay, how do I set up some devices with a static IP address on the XB7? There has to be a way. I can't seem to find it on the Blue Curve app.Thanks
@winterpeg Login to 10.0.0.1, select Connected Devices, find the device, select Edit and then check the Reserved IP box. You can also change the ip adddress there.
So, I can't do that with the Blue Curve app? The reason why I ask, is that I am out of the country until April.
f I login to 10.0.0.1, I have to be at home and connected directly to the network at home?
Thanks:
Gary
@winterpeg I don’t think so.
Okay, where do I put the 10.0.0.1? Do I just enter it in the browser area like when I am at home?
Thanks
@winterpeg Yes, just put that in the address bar and login.
Well, I entered 10.0.0.1 in address bar like I would do at home and it first told me that the connection was insecure and then I clicked continue anyway and it just went on until it timed out. Any suggestions other than waiting until I get home in April. Thanks
@winterpeg No.
Okay, I will wait until I get home. This "Blue Curve" app is NOT that useful other than changing channel width /channels and a few other things. I do NOT understand WHY the app would NOT be setup to set static IP addresses, everything that you could do by logining in to the router via the 10.0.0.1. Thanks
